NORMAN FOSTER'S SPACEPORT

SPACEPORT LIFTS OFF FOSTER AND BRAMSON BREAK NEW GROUND
While the architecture world ponders the cutting edge questions of sustainablity and the financila meltdown, the New Mexico Space Authority has broken ground on Norman Foster’s Spaceport. The futuristic structure is the the earth based station for what will be an outer space hotel chain operated by Virgin mega-billionaire Bramson.he renderings of the design are viewable at Foster and Associates website and they detail a project that is the first-of-its-kind on the planet. When fully built, the spaceplanes that have been able to pierce the outer atmosphere without NASA style complexity will offer a ride and tourist desitination previously available only to astronauts. The price for the spectacular liftoff and a stay at the orbiting hotel has not yet been announced but informed analysts suggest $500,000 for a stellar weekend might be the basic rate. A quick ride to space and back without the accomodations or breakfast buffet will likely be about $200,000.
